
A seminar held last night to look at how the Island recycles its waste is being hailed a success.
The meeting, which was organised by the Municipal Association, brought together environmental groups such as Zero Waste Mann and Friends of the Earth with officials from the Department of Local Government and the Environment.
Association Chairman Wendy Megson (pictured) says the evening was well attended by members of the public and local authorities, and she believes there could be a new start to recycling on the Island:
