Prince Charles distributes award to Manx resident
An Island watchmaker says he is 'hugely honoured' to receive an OBE for outstanding services to his trade.
Roger W Smith was presented with it by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace this week.
The 48-year-old master horologist and his small team make ten watches per year, which cost around £100,000 each.
Mr Smith, who's originally from Bolton, moved to the Island 20 years ago to work with Dr George Daniels, who he describes as the greatest horologist of all time.
