Onchan residents are being asked by police to be vigilant after a wave of graffiti on Thursday evening.
A large number of vehicles, as well as items in the street, were sprayed with blue paint, probably between 9pm and 11.30pm.
It's believed whoever did it started their trail of damage in Lhon Vane Close, went on through Wybourn Grove, then along Queens Road and down towards the old Coutts Bank building.
Pc Nigel Smith says such large-scale acts of damage are rare on the Island, adding the matter is being taken very seriously by the police.
If you know anything about this incident call the Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team on 675190.
