Waves and debris could affect coast roads

Yellow weather warning in force either side of high tide

Forecasters are warning waves and debris could impact the Island's coasts and promenades later.

A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping will be in force from 8am to midday.

Ronaldsway Met Office says strong winds and a high sea swell will lead to minor overtopping either side of high tide, which is at 10am.

Douglas, Castletown, Shore Road in Rushen, Laxey promenade and to a lesser extent Ramsey will be affected.
