Recipient of record payout faced six-figure legal bill
A whistleblower who received a record payout at an employment tribunal wants legal advice to be available at an affordable price.
Rob Sutton has been giving evidence to a Tynwald committee looking at the Island's laws to protect those who expose illegal or unethical practice at a company.
Mr Sutton received almost £700,000 in compensation after losing his job at Creechurch Capital having raised concerns about the firm with the Financial Services Authority.
