Onchan MHK says those who speak out should be protected
An independent review of government's management of the Dr Rosalind Ranson case was presented to Tynwald this week.
The Isle of Man's medical director throughout the pandemic was unfairly dismissed for whistleblowing - a cause often championed by Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
She was heckled and challenged by several other members whilst attempting to deliver her speech on the review to the court:
But Ms Edge told Manx Radio's political correspondent Phil Gawne that whistleblowers 'should never be stifled' and she will continue to speak out for them:
