Thousands of people have been displaced since the start of the war
A car loaded with vitamins, warm clothes ahead of winter and some food items is on its way from the Island to Ukraine.
Manx Support for Ukraine, a group on the Island has been collecting much needed items for the country since the start of the war earlier this year.
The latest drive was for warm clothes and supplies as the days get colder.
Yuliya Sasina-Yeats told Manx Radio they spent five hours sorting through the donations and packing them in the vehicle:
She added while going through the donations, she found a 'little bag' with tea bags and a note to Ukrainians written in Ukrainian.
"Somebody took the time to spell the words of support in Ukrainian to another human being so far away.... Needless to say, we wept as we packed this little act of kindness back into the coat's pocket."
