
A woman pedestrian was taken to hospital last night after an accident on the Castletown Road.
It happened around 5.25pm close to the Kewaigue railway bridge and involved a white transit van. The road was closed for a time while police dealt with the incident.
The woman was taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment, though the exact extent of her injuries isn't known.
