Facility may be needed to treat coronavirus patients
Development work at the Island's private patients unit has been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Health Minister David Ashford says the facility has a large number of rooms, which may be needed to treat those dealing with Covid-19.
As a result, the ward will not re-open to private patients in June, as had previously been planned.
However, Mr Ashford insists the project hasn't been scrapped altogether:
