Satisfaction doubled, according to Business Confidence Survey
Employers on the Island are twice as happy with the work permit system than they were last October, according to a government survey.
Figures suggest satisfaction amongst the business community has grown from 27% to 56%, over the six-month period up to April this year.
The annual Business Confidence Survey canvasses the opinions of employers on issues like business activity and future employment.
Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly says recent reforms, designed to simplify the system, were something set out in the Programme for Government:
DHSC looking to 'map clear way forward' over bed shortages
Strike off process against companies with out-of-date information starts
DEFA reviewing governance and operational structure at abattoir
More roadworks planned for busy Douglas route
