The crew of a small yacht are counting their blessings after two off-duty members of Port Erin Coastguard team spotted their stricken vessel at the weekend.
Shortly after 1.20pm on Saturday, the yacht ran aground near the Sugarloaf at the Chasms.
The two coastguard members raised the alarm, and one of the crew swam ashore and clambered up a steep slope to safety.
Port St Mary lifeboat was launched and towed the boat to Port St Mary harbour with two remaining crew members aboard.
