The warning is until 2pm today
A yellow weather warning is in place for coastal overtopping until 2pm today (20 January).
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say the most affected areas will be Douglas promenade, Laxey and Ramsey promenades, parts of Shore Road, and to a lesser extent Castletown promenade.
Residents can expect slight overtopping of water and a little debris onto windward roads and promenades around 12:15pm.
