A number of areas across the Island at risk
A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping is in place until 2pm today (28 December) with a risk of debris in exposed areas.
The Ronaldsway Met Office says strong southwest winds will continue to affect the Island at high tide at approximately 12.11pm.
The areas most at risk include Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade, central and northern parts of Douglas Promenande as well as Laxey and Ramsey Promenades.
