Strong winds expected to lead to slight coastal overtopping
A yellow weather warning will come into force later this morning (2 February) with waves expected to impact coastal routes either side of high tide.
The alert for coastal overtopping will be in force from 9.45am until 2am tomorrow.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway warn a strong easterly wind will give a choppy sea, leading to slight overtopping and a little debris during the next two high tides.
The met office says further warnings are likely in the coming days with strong winds expected to continue until Thursday.
