MET Office asks people to be aware of icy patches on roads
Car windscreens may be in need of some de-frosting this morning as locals wake up to a yellow weather warning.
The notice alerts people to potential icy patches on the roads after temperatures fell to zero C in some higher parts of the Island last night.
It was issued by the MET Office, which expects the yellow-weather-warning-weather to ease by 9am.
Police are asking motorists to take care along the Mountain Road this morning.
