Manx competitor in senior women's squad heading to Spain
Isle of Man athlete Sarah Astin has received her first England call-up of the new calendar year.
Astin - who competes for Belgrave Harriers - will be part of the senior women's team to contest the Juan Muguerza Elgoibar Cross Country in Spain this Sunday (7 January).
She'll be joined in the senior women's squad by Niamh Brown, Lauren Hall and Lauren McNeil.
Twelve other competitors are part of the England squad across the senior men's, junior men's and junior women's classes.
2023 was a successful year for Astin as she was crowned national English cross country champion in February before breaking the Manx women's 10k road race record in Manchester the following month.
