It looks as if the Axe Factor campaign might continue after September 29.
The Isle of Man Trades Council has been running the pre-election campaign for several weeks and recently issued a questionnaire to the 64 candidates, seeking their views on everything from economic development to capital punishment.
Council president Angela Moffatt says it could be interesting to keep the exercise going for some time after polling day:
