First weekend of 2016/17 PwC Mixed Premier League season
This weekend saw the return of Manx hockey.
All six teams in the PwC Mixed Premier League were in action.
Defending champions Bacchas A began their campaign with a 5-1 victory away to Vikings A, but it's their B team who sit top after the opening round of fixtures.
Bacchas B put seven past Castletown Celts in a dominant 7-2 win.
There was to be no winning return to the top flight for Harlequins.
They were eventually beaten 4-1 by Valkyrs.
Quins captain Nick Hamer says the fitness of the squad must improve if they're to avoid an immediate return to the second tier.
