Southern 100 special lap this evening
There will be a tribute to racer Dario Cecconi at Billown this evening.
The popular Italian rider lost his life following a crash at last weekend's Tandragee 100 meeting.
He will take his final lap around the Tandragee circuit this evening and his family want as many people as possible to accompany him on his final journey to the chequered flag.
The Southern 100 Club has decided to organise a similar trip to show solidarity as Dario was considering coming and racing at the Southern 100 and Manx Grand Prix.
Fans are asked to gather at the startline at 7pm on bikes or in cars with the lap of Billown getting underway at 7.30pm.
The intention is to make as much noise as possible but there will be a minute of silence at the end.
