New Zealander registers quickest ever 250cc lap around the Mountain Course
Bruce Anstey posted the fastest ever 250cc lap around the Mountain Course in last night's Festival of Motorcycling practice session.
The New Zealander continued his fine preparation ahead of next week's racing by also topping the leader board in the Classic Superbike practice.
It was in the Lightweight class that Anstey made the headlines, though, as he registered a 118.8mph lap from a standing start.
At one stage he was on for a 120mph lap before being held up.
