Mark Cavendish will be aiming for more success in the Tour de France tomorrow (Saturday), as the field tackles the final stage for sprinters before entering the Pyrenees.
Stage eight covers 172 kilometres from Figeac to Toulouse, and the 23 year-old Manxman will expect to improve on today's performance, which placed him 148th.
Cav crossed the line over 45 minutes behind the winner, his Columbia team mate Kim Kirchen, but should do much better on Saturday's less hilly terrain.
