Manx cycling is mourning the loss of Geoff Quine.
The popular figure, who ran the original cycling league at King George V Park, where the National Sports Centre now stands, passed away on Sunday. He was 82.
Mark Cavendish has tweeted 'RIP Geoff Quine. The nicest person in Manx cycling. A gentleman, both generous and humble. You will be missed.'
Cycling performance director for the Isle of Man Gary Hinds remembers how, every Wednesday, as many cyclists as possible, including the likes of Cav, Peter Kennaugh and Jonny Bellis, would visit Geoff's house at the end of their training ride:
