New venture aims to enter English non-league structure
FC Isle of Man has received backing to become affiliated to the Isle of Man Football Association.
It's the next step towards the Island having a team entered into the English non-league structure.
The majority of the member clubs who fall under Manx football's governing body have supported the move, allowing FC IOM to play home games at The Bowl in Douglas.
Back in August, it was confirmed discussions had been taking place with the North West Counties Football League regarding the new club's application process.
