Pedrosa a record eighth different MotoGP winner in a row
After finishing on the podium in the last two rounds, it was a tough weekend for Ramsey resident Cal Crutchlow in MotoGP
He finished eighth at the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera of Rimini on the Adriatic coast of Italy on Sunday afternoon.
The LCR Honda rider was then relegated one place to ninth for cutting a corner on two occasions.
But two hours after the race finished the decision was reversed and Crutchlow was reinstated in eighth and confirmed as the top independent rider.
Dani Pedrosa took the chequered flag, becoming the eighth different MotoGP winner in a row, a new record.
Crutchlow won at Brno in the Czech Republic two rounds ago, then came second at the last round at Silverstone.
