Manxman takes third in Jock Wadley Memorial Road Race
Manxman Tyler Hannay has taken a podium finish on his first competitive outing of the latest cycling season.
He finished third in the Jock Wadley Memorial Road Race on Sunday (9 March) - only beaten by VC Londres pairing Jacob Vaughan and Dylan Belton-Owen who claimed first and second respectively.
It's a new chapter for Hannay this year who's racing for Philippines-based team 7 Eleven Cliq Roadbike Philippines in 2025.
His next race for the team will be in just under two weeks time with what will be his first UCI event of the campaign, the Tour of Thailand from 24-29 March.
The 21-year-old Island rider had departed Cornwall-based UCI team Saint Piran which confirmed at the end of the previous season it would not be competing this year.
He's also recently set up his own YouTube channel, hoping to document both his competitive career and offer guidance and inspiration to other riders.
