Isle of Man represented across time trials and road races this week
A host of Isle of Man cyclists are set to take on the 2026 Lloyds National Road Championships which get underway today (25 June).
The Isle of Man will be represented both in the men's and women's elite time trial events which are being held in the area around the town of Lampeter in Wales this morning and this afternoon.
Meanwhile, multiple Island competitors are also named on the start lists of both the men's and women's road races taking place in Aberystwyth, Wales on Sunday (28 June).
Kicking things off today is Becky Storrie in the Elite Women's Time Trial which got underway a short time ago at 10.45am - Storrie will be the 15th rider to set off.
Meanwhile, the Elite Men's Time Trial will begin at 2.50pm with Max Walker representing EF Education-EasyPost.
For Sunday's road races, Storrie will be back in action in the Elite Women's Road Race for Team Picnic PostNL along with two other Manx riders in the form of Ruby Oakes (FTP-Fulfil The Potential-Racing) and Nicola Quaye (360cycling), both of whom are registered as Under-23 competitors.
Elsewhere, Walker is also on the roster for the Elite Men's Road Race as well as Matthew Bostock who will contest the event for Rapha Cycling Club.
Another Isle of Man rider, Zac Walker (Mypad Racing p/b ONDO Sports) is down as a reserve for the race.
On Sunday, the Elite and Under-23 Women's Road Races are scheduled to start from 8.45am with the Elite and Under-23 Men's Road Races starting at the later time of 1.45pm.
