An Island audience was treated to a frank, honest and revealing talk by one of British boxing’s greats on Thursday night.

Nigel Benn, the ‘Dark Destroyer’, was the latest guest of the Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club.

He spoke about his career, but also the struggles he had in the past with drugs and infidelity, before becoming a born-again Christian

Speaking to Manx Radio after his appearance, Benn said his faith has enabled him to find peace and happiness in his life:
