The Men go down 2-1 to Cheshire League
The Isle of Man FA senior men’s side slipped to a 2-1 defeat to Cheshire League, ending their Inter-League Cup at the first hurdle.
Two first-half goals from Nathan Southern, the first from the spot, meant it was the visitors who progressed.
Paul Jones’ side were missing a number of key players and went in at the interval with plenty of work to do.
A second-half reply from Alex Harrison wasn’t enough as the two-time winners of the competition were knocked out in the first round.
