
A few changes to the Douglas line-up cost them the points away at Wallasey as they went down 19-5 in a disjointed performance in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.
Wallasey led 19-0 at half-time as Douglas struggled to find their rhythm.
Peter Fisher’s try in the first minute of the second half gave Douglas some much needed encouragement but, despite creating plenty of chances, they were unable to cross the whitewash again.
