
Douglas B beat ‘old firm’ rivals Vagabonds B 22-12 in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy to move top of the table.
The game was tied seven apiece at half-time with Niall Killey and Andy Pease both bagging first half tries for Douglas and Vagas respectively and Luke Hyland and Ryan Windell adding conversions.
In the second half, Douglas took control with tries from Sam Peel and Noel Capewell, plus a penalty and another conversion from youngster Hyland.
Vagas picked up a late consolation try from prop Steve Mercer.
