Road racer suffered heavy crash at the Southern 100
Just two weeks after suffering a heavy crash at the Southern 100, Michael Dunlop has finished fourth in Superbike qualifying at Armoy.
The 19-time TT winner was only 3.17 seconds off leader Derek Shiels, despite carrying multiple injuries including a broken pelvis.
Derek McGhee placed second with Irishman Michael Sweeney rounding off the top three.
Dunlop was also among the quickest in the Supersport qualifying, ending up in fifth on his MD Racing Honda.
