Goals from Dean Pinnington and Charlie Higgins secure 2-1 victory for the Ravens

FC Isle of Man came from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Padiham at the Bowl last night, giving the Ravens their second win of the season.

The home side had the better of the chances in the first half but couldn't find the back of the net, with the two sides heading into the interval goalless.

Just before the hour mark, Tyler Beck broke the deadlock for the visitors, but Padiham's lead lasted just two minutes as Dean Pinnington levelled from a free kick.

The Ravens pushed for a winner, and inside the final 15 minutes Charlie Higgins saw his effort deflected into the net on his first appearance of the season, securing the win for the hosts.

The result moves FC Isle of Man up to 12th in the North West Counties Premier Division ahead of their away fixture against Glossop North End on Wednesday.
