The new sporting year swings straight into action with the St. John's Fell race on Monday 1st January.
The climb and descent of Slieau Whallian starts at 1.30pm from the Peel and St. John's cricket ground.
Signing-on is at the neighbouring football clubhouse from 12.15pm.
Fancy dress is encouraged but competitors are reminded that headphones are banned and carrying a waterproof jacket is strongly advised.
