Newcomers get out, Dunlop tops 121mph
Tonight’s Festival of Motorcycling practice session got under way just a couple of minutes after the scheduled 6.20pm start, and took place in sunny conditions.
Time out on the Mountain Course was in good supply for newcomers and more experienced Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix competitors alike.
There were a few damp patches at certain points around the course, but nothing to overly worry the riders.
The pick of the riders this evening was Michael Dunlop, who topped 121mph from a standing start in the Classic TT Superbike class.
Manx Radio TT’s Chris Kinley and Chris Palmer discussed what things would have been like for the newcomers:
Football: Colby aiming to launch pan-disability team
Golf: Dawson kicks off latest Ladies European Tour campaign
Rugby: Rodd in England Six Nations side to face Italy
2025 MGP winner Canny to make TT debut
