Castletown lost their first match of the season on Saturday and also their lead at the top of the Standard Bank Premiership when they were beaten by St John's.
Batting first the Town were dismissed for 110 with Garreth Roome top scoring on 38 and Dan Hawke taking 3 wickets for 10 runs.
The Saints knocked off the runs for the loss of four wickets – Phil Littlejohns scored 31 and Peter Lewis ended on 24 not out.
At Marown Crosby staged a staggering fightback to defeat Cronkbourne by just one wicket in a thrilling finish.
The Tromode team had scored 125 with Ross Berry taking 4 wickets for 37 and Joe Rothwell 3 for 36.
In reply fine bowling from Max Stokoe and Matt Ansell wrecked the Crosby top order and the game seemed over as they crashed to 39 for 8, but then David Quayle and Joe Rothwell then led a stirring recovery.
The total had reached 102 when Quayle was bowled by Alex Stokoe for 28. In mounting excitement the final pair edged their way to victory.
Rothwell made 29 not out and skipper Dave Picken made an undefeated 13.
