Governors Athletic midfielder will join Over-60's setup
One of the Isle of Man's walking football players has been called up to represent England.
Stephen Falconer, who plys his trade with Governors Athletic, has been selected to be part of the England Over-60's walking football setup.
Governors Athletic describe Mr Falconer as 'a top man known well throughout Manx football' with the Isle of Man Walking Football Association also congratulating him on his selection.
The midfielder was part of the Governors Athletic side which won last season's Isle of Man Walking Football League with an undefeated record of six wins and two draws in the 2022/23 campaign.
