Manx amputee player and club defend crown they won in 2024
Manx amputee footballer, Sean Jackson and Everton have successfully defended the IKO EAFA Football League title for 2025.
The former Island athlete and the Merseyside club retained the silverware with with two key victories on the final day of the campaign at Reaseheath College in Nantwich on Saturday, 27 September.
The first of those wins against title contenders, Portsmouth secured the trophy for Everton before they followed that up with a further victory against Newcastle and then a defeat to Chelsea.
Furthermore, The England Amputee Football Association confirmed Everton's championship-winning display saw them qualify for the Champions League next season.
Elsewhere this summer, Jackson represented England in the EAFF Nations League where the national side finished third in their group last month.
