Rider wants to focus on BSB and family commitments
The fastest ever newcomer at the Isle of Man TT says he won't be taking part in the races in 2023.
Glenn Irwin confirmed the news after signing a deal to ride for the PBM Ducati team for next year's British Superbike Championship.
In an interview with BBC Sport Northern Ireland, Irwin says he loved the TT experience.
However he wishes to also have time to focus on family commitments, adding 'I don't love any event more than my kids'.
The Northern Irishman made his TT debut in June this year for his previous team, Honda Racing UK.
To all my supporters I hope use understand my decision. I’m lucky to have a relatively large fan base, it keeps me motivated so let’s all enjoy this next chapter and get behind the @PBM_Team. To the @ttracesofficial thanks for everything and wish use a safe & successful #TT23
