There was delight and disappointment for the Isle of Man hockey teams in the Inter-Island Hockey tournament.
Both men’s and women’s teams qualified for the final after good results in the biennial event.
The men lost 5-0 to an impressive Guernsey side at the National Sports Centre.
However, there was glory for the women as they retained the title they won in 2011 with a 3-1 victory over Orkney.
Strikes from Imogen Manning, Zoe Carney and Sarah Blackman sealed the victory.
