The headline June event had been due to take place in Peel
The 2025 Isle of Man Golf Championships will now take place at a new venue.
Isle of Man Golf Union says the headline event will no longer take place at Peel Golf Club with the union in a brief statement saying the western venue is 'unable to accommodate' the occasion.
The championship will instead take place in 2025 at Mount Murray on 21 June for the qualifiers stage followed by the finals on from 29 June.
Meanwhile the date of the Kay Fox event at Peel has been moved to 6 July, 2025 'to assist the club with fixture congestion.'
Among the other key dates in Isle of Man golf next year the season will kick-off with the Spring Meeting at Mount Murray on 26 April.
The Isle of Man Junior Championships will take place at the same venue on 12 July with the IoM Senior Championships following just two weeks later at Ramsey on 27 July.
The union further adds: "A number of clubs are undertaking significant work on their courses in 2025 and were unable to offer their facilities to the Golf Union.
"It is hoped that in 2026 we will have more choice of venue and we will be able to revert to a rota of courses for the championships and other events."
