Island pro player puts in strong performance in Morocco
Isle of Man professional golfer, Ana Dawson has secured a top-20 finish during the latest qualifying school for the Ladies European Tour.
Competing over the last four days in Marrakesh, the competitor from Peel has finished the competition in Tied-16th spot in Group B of the finals with an overall score of ten-under-par across the four rounds.
Furthermore, the 25-year-old finished just nine shots off the pace of tournament winner, Dorota Zalewska of Poland (19-under-par).
Competing the top three was the USA's Anna Morgan in second (16-under-par) and Alexandra Swayne of the Virgin Islands in third (16-under-par).
'Q-School' plays a big role in how many invites competitors can get onto the Ladies European Tour for the upcoming new season, with higher finishes offering more invites.
During 2025, Dawson made two appearances on the tour at the Joburg Ladies Open and Investec SA Women's Open, both in April.
Her most recent campaign has seen her predominantly feature on the LET Access Series where she appeared in 16 events with four top-ten finishes.
