Ed Gumbley and Quentin Rew were the winners of the Haldane Fisher Syd Quirk Half Marathon on Sunday.
Organised by the Isle of Man Veteran Athletes' Club, a record number of runners finished the event with Gumbley completing the course in a time of one hour, 14 minutes and 34 seconds.
Jamie Newton (1.16.18), Michael Garrett (1.17.13) and Tom Cringle (1.17.26) completed the top four.
The leading woman was Jacqueline Taggart (1.23.27) in 13th place overall.
The walk was won by visiting New Zealander Quentin Rew, an Olympic and World Championship 50k walker.
He finished in a time of one hour, 32 minutes and 48 seconds - beating Peter Kaneen’s Island record by 12 minutes in the process.
Alex Eaton (1.46.45) and Michael George (1.46.48) were second and third with Michelle Turner the first woman home in a fine fourth place (1.50.27).
