Two of the main contenders for victories at the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races, on the Billown circuit in the south of the Island, have been ruled out by injury.
Organisers have announced that Ewan Hamilton and Alan Oversby have withdrawn from the event.
Scot Ewan Hamilton was due to have three machines in his stable. A brace of 250s from Japan, a Suzuki and a Yamaha, along with his trusty 500 Seeley Matchless.
Six-time winner Alan Oversby from Bolton-le-Sands is the current lap and race record holder for the Senior.
The meeting starts on Friday evening with a practice session from 6.15pm to 9.15pm.
There is more practicing on Saturday, from 1.15pm, with one race at 4pm.
The main race day is next Monday.
