Dunn and Haig part of gold medal-winning England side
Two young hockey players with links to the Island are celebrating after playing key parts in a gold medal-winning performance at a prestigious tournament.
Sienna Dunn and Lexie Haig represented England Girls during the 2022 School Games which took place at Loughborough University from 2-4 September.
The England side - captained by Dunn - went on to win the gold medal in the girls' section by beating Wales 2-0 in their final game to pip Ulster to the top spot in the standings on goal difference.
They'd also produced a convincing 6-1 win over Scotland in their first game before a 2-2 draw with Ulster.
During 2022, Sienna has represented England U18's on numerous occasions, whilst Lexie has played numerous times for the England U16's squad this year.
