Neil Hodgson will compete in this year's A.M.A. Superbike Championship.
He will ride for the Corona Extra Honda team.
Before Christmas, it was announced his American Honda factory team was withdrawing from the series due to the global financial downturn.
Prior to this, Hodgson had excelled in pre-season testing setting the fastest times at Daytona.
The CBR1000 bike Hodgson was helping to develop will still be the machine on which he competes.
The new campaign starts at the beginning of March with the Daytona 200 meeting.
