Having Dame Kelly Holmes involved in working with future Manx sport stars and coaches will be a recipe for success.
That's the view of Isle of Man Sport Development Officer Paul Bridson after a new Sporting Excellence Programme was announced yesterday with Kelly Holmes Education leading the scheme.
The partnership will also involve Isle of Man Sport, the Isle of Man Coaches Association and the Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association.
Paul Bridson says recent visits to the Isle of Man, including the Commonwealth Youth Games last September, have inspired the double Olympic Champion.
He says Dame Kelly Holmes is impressed with both facilities and talent on the island:-
Powerlifting: Isle of Man to host Home Nations in 2026
Snooker: Blinders take victory to go top
Jiu-jitsu: Manx club planning to host international event
Hockey: Manx women's O45's beaten against Timperley
