Ben Sinclair and Glen Quayle took part in event this week
Two young Island athletes produced solid performances this week after taking part in the Manchester International track and field events.
Ben Sinclair and Glen Quayle were both competing at the event on Wednesday (18 August).
Sinclair went on to secure a bronze medal representing Scotland U20s in the 4x400m relay.
It comes after there had been doubts as to whether he may have made it after nursing an injury.
Meanwhile, Quayle finished fourth in the pole vault representing GB Juniors with a best clearance of 4.51 metres.
He's now left for his placement in South Dakota, USA, after winning a scholarship which is hoped to help take his athletic abilities to the next level.
