Old Mutual supports Kids First
There's a boost for the development of young rugby players in the Isle of Man.
Old Mutual International is supporting England Rugby’s Old Mutual Wealth Kids First scheme locally.
Starting this month, Douglas RUFC coach Carl Murray, who is a former international player and a regular in the club’s first team, will be holding sessions at selected schools.
The first to benefit will be Ashley Hill, Cronk-y-Berry, and Onchan primary schools.
The scheme, which is for boys and girls aged from six to 13 years old, aims to develop the skills of coaches, so they can inspire children to stay involved in the game for longer.
Any club or school which would like to sign up to the Old Mutual Wealth Kids First Rugby Pledge should visit www.englandrugby.com/my-rugby/players/kids-first-rugby/sign-up or email chrisbrannigan@rfu.com for further info.
