Decision on Manx bid to be made next summer
The Isle of Man is 'perfectly ready' to potentially host the 2029 Island Games.
That's according to the International Island Games Association (IIGA) which is on Island inspecting Manx facilities after the Island made an official bid this summer to host the event in six years time.
The inaugural games in 1985 were held on Manx shores then again in 2001 - a decision on the latest bid for 2029 is expected in July next year.
IIGA Chairman, Jorgen Pettersson, says the Isle of Man has already proven it's ability to hold the event in the past:

Football: Corinthians hammer Ayre United to reach Hospital Cup last four
Battles to resume in ARA Championship
