Thirteen sports involved in the event this year
More than a thousand youngsters are taking part in the 2019 HSBC Manx Youth Games at the NSC on Saturday.
The annual event - now in its 18th year - allows children aged six to 14-years-old the chance to learn a new sport before a full day of competition.
Training sessions have been taking place weekly since the launch of this year's event.
Handball has been inlcuded in the Games programme for the first time, with 13 sports in total being contested.
It adds to the likes of badminton, cricket and crown green bowls as the North, South, East and West regions of the Island compete for glory.
Since its inception in 2002, the initiative has been used to encourage kids to keep fit.
